MANDREL FIXTURES
Customized solution tailored for each application
Mandrel fixtures are available as a customized solution to ensure a perfect rotation of the sample during optical inspection. The mandrels provided by Sensofar Medical are custom made for each sample and application, with sizes ranging from less than 1mm to 32mm in diameter and for sample length up to 200mm.
Mandrels are manufactured using state-of-the-art techniques which guarantee a measurement accuracy at the micrometer level. Sensofar Medical mandrel fixtures consist of transparent thin-walled glass tubes that allow to inspect the inner surface of the devices while not affecting the quality of the images and allowing the automatic visual inspection of that surface.
Glass rods are also available as an alternative for applications that don’t require the inspection of the inner surface of the device.
